Your privacy matters to us
This privacy policy explains how Tyrholm & Farstad AS collects, uses and processes your personal data in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What information do we collect?
Tyrholm & Farstad collects and processes the personal data necessary for us to fulfil our agreements and obligations. Such data includes, among other things, contact details for contact persons at both customers and suppliers with whom we have a business relationship.

The personal data we collect includes: name, company name, telephone number, e-mail address, invoice and visiting addresses.

How is the information stored?
Your data is stored in our internal systems and databases. These include: CRM system, e-mail system and accounting system

Who has access to the information?
The information is for internal use at Tyrholm & Farstad, but we share information about contact persons with suppliers and customers where this is necessary for assignments to be carried out as agreed.

How long do we store the information?
Under the Norwegian Accounting Act we are required to store transaction history for 5 years. We store personal data relating to customers and suppliers for as long as it is appropriate in order to maintain a business relationship with the customer.

Your rights under the data protection legislation
You have the right to request access to the personal data we have stored about you. You may also require us to delete or amend the data in accordance with applicable legislation.

Use of cookies.

Cookies on our website
Like our customers, we find pop-up windows and banners where you tick which cookies you do and do not want to be intrusive and sometimes confusing. We have therefore chosen to remove all unnecessary cookies from the website.

Does this mean your visit will not be tracked?
No. We still track visits to our website. We do this to learn more about how the site is used and how we can improve it. BUT we do not track who you are.

Tracking without cookies
We have chosen to use the analytics tool Fathom, which complies with national and international privacy legislation (GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA and PECR). This tool tracks only what you do on the website. Not who you are or what you do elsewhere. Nor does it share data with other websites or services. This means you can browse our website safely and anonymously.

Does that mean we do not use cookies at all?
No. Our publishing platform (Webflow) requires the use of cookies in core functionality related to security. We have assessed these as necessary, and they are therefore stored without prior consent.
